Farnsworth House Inn
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
About This Haunted Location
Built around 1810, this historic inn served as a Confederate sharpshooter position during the Battle of Gettysburg. The house's south wall still bears over 100 bullet holes. Visitors report seeing apparitions of Confederate soldiers, hearing Jew's-harp melodies from the attic, and experiencing phantom footsteps and shadow figures. The Sara Black Room is considered the most active, where guests feel someone tucking them into bed.
